104.3 The Fan APD Kevin Sherrets is returning to 1140 KHTK in Sacramento as Program Director. Sherrets tweeted, “I’m very happy to announce that I have accepted the Program Director position with @KHTKSports1140 beginning August 10th! KHTK is where I began my career nearly 18 years ago. KHTK is quite simply, my home. Programming KHTK has been a goal of mine for many yrs… It was bitter sweet when I left the Kings 2 years ago but in order to achieve my goals I knew I had to leave… Denver and @1043TheFan have been very good to me and have put me in the position to be successful back home at KHTK. Now… It’s time to win!”
Sherrets left Sacramento, where he most recently served as Exec. Producer and Broadcast Manager for the Sacramento Kings and then-Kings owners Maloof Sports and Entertainment in 2003-13, for KKFN in 2013. Before that, he was at KHTK, the Kings flagship station from 1998-2003.
