Learfield Sports has reached a deal to represent the University of Vermont for multimedia rights for the next 10 years. The deal marks Vermont’s first multimedia rights outsourcing and will result in the establishment of Vermont Sports Properties.
Sison Broadcasting News-Talk WVMT and Vox Sports WCPV will continue to air hockey and basketball games. Mike Macconnell, most recently CMO at Urban Rhino in Burlington and a former manager at Octagon, Acushnet and the Boston Bruins, will serve as GM of the new venture.
