Detroit Sports 105.1 Pairs “Dery and Sharp” In Afternoons

Detroit Free Press columnist Drew Sharp is joining Matt Dery for the weekday afternoon sports-talk show on Detroit Sports 105.1 (WMGC-FM), Greater Media is scheduled to announce today. The show, which will air 3-7 p.m., is called “Dery and Sharp.”

The duo replaces Drew Lane, who had hosted the afternoon show since August 2013 after a long run as a morning show cohost on WRIF-FM (101.1).

Sean Baligian also is joining Detroit Sports 105.1, hosting a show in the noon-3 p.m. weekday time slot, which had belonged to Dery. Baligian will be joined by holdover Tom Mazawey and Marc Fellhauer, a longtime Lane sidekick.

The station will continue with ESPN’s “Mike and Mike” syndicated show from 6 to 8 a.m., followed by Ryan Ermanni and Rico Beard from 8 a.m. to noon.
