SportsRadio 94WIP has set a date for their annual Wing Bowl. One of the most popular events in the entire radio industry, Wing Bowl 24 will be held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and take place on Saturday February 5, 2016 starting at 6am.
“Game of Bones” has been chosen as the theme for this year’s event and once again it will be broadcast LIVE on 94WIP. The contest will also be streamed on CBSPhilly.com and through the Radio.com app.
WIP Morning Show co-host Al Morganti, who co-founded Wing Bowl 23 years ago with host Angelo Cataldi said, “In a year where everything has seemed to go wrong with sports in Philadelphia, it never goes wrong at Wing Bowl! The Wing Bowl is a competition of eating. This year eaters will compete for amazing prizes including cash, a car and a motorcycle. Contestants are selected based on their ability to complete challenging eating stunts featured during the SportsRadio 94WIP Morning Show, heard weekdays from 5:30-10:00 AM, or on-site “Wing-Offs” held throughout Philadelphia.
