TSN 1050 program director Jeff MacDonald is starting to put his own stamp on the radio station’s weekday line-up. According to Toronto Sports Media, starting on February 22nd, TSN will introduce several new and revamped radio shows in an attempt to take away some of the market share from local ratings leader the FAN 590.
Since launching 5 years ago, TSN 1050 has had to overcome a weak signal and low ratings. The current changes are the biggest moves made by the station since 2013 to make a real run against the market leader. Here is what the new lineup is expected to look like.
- Mornings with “Landsberg & Naylor”
- Mid mornings with “Cauz & Wheeler”
- Middays with “Mike Richards”
- Afternoon drive with “Hayes & O’Neill”
