Despite recently released court documents from 20 years ago that put Peyton Manning in the middle of sexual assault accusations, it looks like the quarterback will still have a job next season. Whether it’s with Denver on the field, with the Titans in a front-office role or on television, Manning will still be involved with the game. If he chooses.
According to SportsBusiness Journal, CBS, ESPN, Fox and NBC would all like to add Manning to their on-air staff for NFL broadcasts. CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus went as far as to say the network would contact the future first-ballot Hall of Famer as soon as he expresses an interest in TV work.
CBS got a front-row seat to Manning’s potential broadcasting genius before the Super Bowl, Sports Illustrated reported. The CBS Super Bowl production crew was so impressed with Manning’s insight that the 15-member crew gave him a standing ovation.
