WGN Radio AM-720 in Chicago and Northwestern Athletics have come to terms on a new four-year broadcast rights extension. The agreement will keep Wildcats football and men’s basketball on the radio station through the conclusion of the 2019-20 campaign. WGN has served as the radio home of the Wildcats since 1996.
Also, the radio station has signed Dave Eanet, the voice of Wildcats football since 1990 and men’s basketball since 1996, to a new four-year contract. He holds the position of Sports Director at WGN Radio and is a key personality on the Steve Cochran Show.
Completing the broadcast teams are former Chicago Bear Ted Albrecht, who serves as the football analyst for Wildcats football, and former college and professional head coach Joey Meyer who provides analysis on basketball broadcasts.
