Mark Champion and Terry Foster are two of the most recognized and accomplished sports media people in Michigan, and Oakland University students are gaining an opportunity to tap into their knowledge, as they’ve agreed to teach courses this summer and fall at the school.
Champion, the voice of the Detroit Pistons, will teach a Sports Broadcasting class (JRN 480) during Oakland’s Summer II session.
Foster, one half of 97.1 The Ticket’s afternoon show with Mike Valenti, and an award-winning columnist for the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press, will offer a course in Sports Reporting during the fall semester.
