Mornings with Keyshawn, Jorge and LZ will air weekday mornings from 6a-9a PT.

In addition, Kelvin Washington, who currently hosts Kelvin & Travis on ESPNLA alongside Travis Rodgers, has been elevated to the highly rated afternoon drive show and will partner with Marcellus Wiley on Afternoons with Marcellus & Kelvin airing weekdays from 3 – 7 p.m.

Barrett Sports Media initially reported these changes would be forthcoming.

The Thompson & Trudell program will expand by one hour, airing from 9a-12p PT, while Mason & Ireland (12p-3p PT) and ESPNLA Rewind (7p-9p PT) will remain in their current positions on the ESPNLA 710 schedule. The 9p-6a PT block will feature ESPN Radio Network sports programming.

“With an extremely powerful all-live and local lineup, we are ensuring that ESPNLA continues to be the destination station for Los Angeles-area sports fans,” said Scott McCarthy, VP/GM, ESPNLA. “Fans want context and analysis after our L.A. teams play, and our local focus – especially in morning drive – will super-serve them with the best in L.A. sports talk. In fact, from 6 a.m. until noon every weekday, ESPNLA 710AM will be the only radio station in Los Angeles focused entirely on L.A. teams and L.A. sports fans.”

Johnson, who joined ESPN in 2007, has been an NFL analyst on the network’s Sunday NFL Countdown and Monday Night Countdown in Bristol, Conn., since he retired from pro football. The No. 1 overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft and a member of the Super Bowl XXXVII champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Johnson played 11 NFL seasons for the New York Jets, Bucs, Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers.
