95.7 The Game Parts Ways With Doing and Middlekauff

95.7 The Game in San Francisco has begun making changes to its programming lineup, starting with the departures of morning host Chad Doing, and midday host John Middlekauff. The radio station informed both men of their intentions to move in a different direction on Monday. The Game’s website has since changed the morning show page, and the page for Haberman and Middlekauff no longer exists.

No word yet on how the changes affect morning show hosts Joe Fortenbaugh and Lorenzo Neal, or midday host Guy Haberman. Doing had been with the station since September 2014, and in morning drive since December 2014. Middlekauff was promoted to middays in February 2013 following a one-year stint as a football contributor.

It’s expected that FOX Sports Radio host JT The Brick will be part of the future lineup. An official announcement hasn’t been made yet but sources say that The Brick has been targeted for middays. Any involvement from The Brick would not impact his current show on FOX Sports Radio.

The Game added the rights to the Golden State Warriors last month, and is looking to solidify their weekday lineup and strengthen their ratings position heading into the fall. With the NBA’s hottest team coming soon to their airwaves, and the Oakland Raiders off to a 1-0 start, the brand should be in good position to make progress.
