iHeartmedia Denver is making a few changes that will have a direct impact on a few of their local stations. The two spoken word brands impacted the most are Denver Sports 760AM and KOA Newsradio.
As part of the changes, Denver Broncos play by play voice Dave Logan will move from 760 back to KOA to host a new afternoon show with Rick Lewis titled “The Lewis and Logan Show“. The program will include co-host Kathy Lee and news anchor Robbyn Hart. Lewis and Lee have worked together on a morning show on local station 103.5 The Fox for the past 25 years.
KOA also is adding Primetime Sports, weeknights from 7p-8p MT. A new addition to the station, Cory Lopez, will host the program.
For Denver Sports 760, the station will adjust its weekday schedule. Dan Patrick will be heard in mornings, Ed McCaffrey and Andy Lindahl with Romi Bean occupy middays from 10a-1p, a new program with Mike Rice takes over from 1p-3p, and Colin Cowherd’s show airs from 3p-6p. McCaffrey and Lindahl previously hosted afternoons on the station, and Logan was part of the midday show with Susie Wargin. Wargin is sliding over to iHeartmedia’s 103.5 The Fox to host middays.
