In a sign that maybe we are close to a resolution of Paul Finebaum’s contract negotiations with ESPN, the college football provocateur is included in a press release detailing the SEC Network’s coverage of SEC Media Days live from Atlanta.
The network’s coverage will also be anchored by The Paul Finebaum Show each day, with eight head coaches slated to appear, including Alabama’s Nick Saban, LSU’s Ed Orgeron, and Will Muschamp of South Carolina. The show, which will have reaction to the latest news and buzz of the annual college football kickoff event, will also air on ESPN Radio.
Last month, Clay Travis reported that Finebaum was considering sitting out SEC Media Days if he was unable to get a new deal done with ESPN before the event started. There has been no confirmed news of a new deal as of this posting.
