Kurt Warner has been named Boomer Esiason’s successor in the Monday Night Football radio booth for Westwood One. Esiason left the role in July after being a part of the Monday Night broadcast team for 18 seasons. Warner was presumed to be the leading candidate for the job. He filled in for Esiason on several occasions last season.
Warner will join Kevin Harlan in the booth for each Monday night game. The two previously worked together hosting a podcast for Westwood One. The Monday Night Football package begins with a double header on September 10th. Harlan and Warner will make their debut calling the Oakland Raiders-Los Angeles Rams game.
