Last night the Los Angeles Kings and iHeartMeda debuted the LA Kings Audio Network, streaming digitally on iHeartRadio. The new channel carries live play-by-play, game replays, and call-in shows. Its first broadcast was of a split-squad preseason match between the Kings and the Arizona Coyotes accompanied by all regular pre-and postgame programming. The team promises other exclusive content on the channel in the future.
“We are also very excited to get back in to the audio game with the LA Kings and establishing the LA Kings Audio Network on iHeartRadio is the first step,” said Don Martin, iHeartMedia Los Angeles SVP of Sports. The new channel will be the exclusive audio home of the Kings. There will be no traditional broadcast for the team this season.
