The Press Box, with Ed Graney and co-host Clay Baker on the Lotus Broadcasting owned ESPN 1100AM and 100.9FM in Las Vegas is moving to morning drive on October 2. Starting next week, The Press Box will air from 7 – 10am.
Graney and Baker are notable sports media personalities within the market, having hosted their current program from 11am – 2pm since May 2017. In addition to his radio work, Graney has served as a columnist for The Las Vegas Review-Journal since 2006. Co-host of The Press Box, Clay Baker has worked for Lotus Broadcasting since 2004, following tenures with Sporting News and Fox Sports Radio Networks which included work as a producer for Papa Joe Chevalier, Fabulous Sports Babe and JT The Brick.
“We are thrilled to give listeners the chance to wake up with The Press Box, ” program director Mark Seidel told The Review-Journal. “You will now be able to keep up with all the happenings of Las Vegas sports as well as the big stories around the sports world first thing in the morning. The Press Box with Ed and Clay has been and will continue to be your go-to source for local sports coverage. This is what the listeners asked for, and we couldn’t be happier to bring it to them.”
With its move to morning drive, The Press Box takes over for The Dan Le Batard Show on ESPN Radio in Las Vegas. The station has not announced plans for a local show to fill the midday time slot left behind by The Press Box from 11am – 2pm. Starting Octboer 2nd, ESPN 1100 is fully local from 7 – 11am airing The Press Box and Technically Correct with Tyler Bischoff as well as from 2 – 6pm with Las Vegas Sportsline followed by Cofield & Company.
