ESPN is giving MLB fans new editions of Baseball Tonight every night during the playoffs. The network has not set a firm time for each show, stating only that the show will start “around midnight” every night. The nightly show will be 60 minutes long during the Divisional and Championship Series and feature the regular crew of host Karl Ravech and experts Mark Teixeira, David Ross, Eduardo Pérez, John Farrell, Tim Kurkjian and Buster Olney.
Depending on ESPN’s live sports commitments, Baseball Tonight will be seen on either ESPN2 or ESPNews. The show can also be streamed via the ESPN app.
During the World Series ESPN will move Baseball Tonight into the spotlight. There will be a 60 minute version of the show on at 5pm each afternoon. That will be followed by a second 30 minute edition at 7pm. Those shows will be done on-site from the stadium hosting each night’s game and will feature interviews with players and managers involved in the World Series.
