Former ESPN and Bleacher Report NBA writer Tom Haberstroh is headed to NBC’s regional sports networks. He will serve as the group’s national NBA Insider. Most of his work will focus on cities where an NBC regional network is the home of the local NBA team. Those markets include Boston, Chicago, Golden State, Philadelphia, Portland, Sacramento, and Washington.
Haberstroh made his debut on Thursday night as part of the Heat’s visit to Washington. In addition to TV appearances, he will also contribute writing to NBCSports.com and the new NBC Sports MyTeams app. A press release from NBC says that Haberstroh will also contribute original videos and podcasts to the new app.
