Although the NFL season has passed its halfway point, Fox Sports 1 is still bolstering its roster of NFL analysts. Whit Albom, FS1’s Vice President Daily Studio Production and Executive Producer, announced eight names earlier today that will join the network’s various studio shows throughout the remainder of the season and the playoffs.
The list of names is an impressive one too. It includes former players Eric Dickerson, DeAngelo Hall, James Harrison, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Shawne Merriman, Bart Scott, and Rod Woodson. Former Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano is also joining FS1. Between them, the eight men hav 30 Pro Bowl appearances, 3 Super Bowl appearances, and 2 Hall of Fame inductions.
No specific plans for appearances or schedules were laid out in a press release announcing the new talent. Albom said the new analysts will be utilized by a number of different FS1 shows. “They bring a wealth of experience and world-class knowledge of the game that strengthens our impressive roster at FS1,” he added.
