Former 670 the Score host Andy Garcia lost his wife Meredith in May after a battle with colon cancer. She was 37 years old.
670’s Jay Zawaski is using his popular Madhouse Chicago Hockey Podcast as a fundraiser for the Garcia family. The podcast will host an event at Rabid Brewing in Homewood, IL. Tickets are $10. The event will feature silent auctions, raffles, and a viewing party for the Blackhawks game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The event, which is called “Puck Cancer,” begins at 6:30 tonight. Among the raffle prizes to be won are tickets to upcoming Blackhawks games, tours of 670 the Score’s Chicago studios, and a number of items signed by Chicago athletes. All of the proceeds go directly to the Garcia family.
