2019 is going to be a good year for Jeff Gordon. The four-time champion of NASCAR’s Monster Energy Series will be inducted into the sport’s hall of fame nest month. He also has a new deal with his employer.
Fox signed Gordon to a multi-year extension after his first contract came to an end at the conclusion of 2018. Gordon will continue in his role as a race analyst for the network and make appearances on FS1’s NASCAR Race Hub. He told MotorSport.com that he was more eager to sign his extension than he was to sign his first contract. “The first time, I didn’t exactly know what I was getting myself into. I didn‘t know whether I was going to be any good at it, if I was going to enjoy it.”
