Harvick Expands Role on FS1 Xfinity Series Race Coverage

Kevin Harvick will be in the broadcast booth for Fox a lot this season. He will serve as the lead analyst on seven NASCAR Xfinity Series races for Fox and FS1 in 2019.

Harvick still drives a full season schedule in NASCAR’s top series, the Monster Energy Cup Series. The 43-year-old is working Xfinity Series races both for fun and to get a handle on what could be his future career.

“I’ve enjoyed calling NASCAR Xfinity Series races for FOX Sports more than I ever imagined I would, so I am looking forward to adding even more this year,” Harvick said in a press release. “I’ve made no secret of the fact I can see broadcasting in my future after racing, so this is a cool opportunity to branch out as the lead analyst and perhaps even offer some pointers to other drivers calling the races with me.”

Adam Alexander will call play-by-play alongside Harvick. The duo will also be joined by a rotating cast of Monster Energy Cup Series drivers serving as guest analysts for Xfinity Series races.
