Reigning WBC Welterweight Champion Shawn Porter will try his hand at broadcasting this week. He will be a part of FS1’s PBC Fight Night crew alongside Chris Myers and Ray Mancini on Saturday night when Devon Alexander takes on Devon Redkach.
Porter has worn his championship belt since September of 2018. He is 30 – 2 as a professional boxer, with 17 of his wins coming via knockout.
Coverage of PBC Fight Night will begin on FS2, with the prelims airing at 6pm Eastern. At 8pm, festivities shift to FS1, where Myers, Mancini, and Porter will be on the call. Jordan Hardy will be ringside to interview fighters.
Alexander and Redkach are both welterweight fighters. The current champion sitting ringside and serving as an analyst for their match could be a setup for a future PBC Fight Night main event.
