Paul Finebaum’s producer John Hayes announced today that he is leaving the show on ESPN Radio and the SEC Network.
Hayes was paired with Finebaum when the talk show host joined ESPN in 2014 for the launch of the SEC Network. Patrick Smith held the title of producer during Paul Finebaum’s three decades in Birmingham.

John Hayes did not give any indication for what might be in his future. He is no stranger to radio. In addition to his work with Paul Finebaum, he also has been hosting part-time on Charlotte’s ESPN Radio affiliate 730 the Game. Prior to joining ESPN, the Penn State grad interned for 97.5 the Fanatic in Philadelphia.
