Former Dallas Cowboys broadcaster and reporter Bryan Broaddus has officially been announced as a new cast member on 105.3 the Fan’s G-Bag Nation. The news was announced on air Thursday and then confirmed by Broaddus on Twitter.
Broaddus was a staff writer at the Cowboys’ official website for more than 9 years. He transitioned to hosting the pregame and post-game broadcasts for the team on 105.3 the Fan in November.
The move means that Mike Bacsik is leaving the show. He tweeted that he will join the mid-day show K&C Masterpiece. G-Bag Nation occupied mid-days on the Fan until last year. Bacsik explained why it is the right move for himself and the station on Twitter.
It wasn’t just the members of G-Bag Nation. Hosts from across the 105.3 the Fan lineup took to Twitter to congratulate and welcome Broaddus.
The Fan has seen some major personnel changes in the last six months. It started with G-Bag Nation and Ben and Skin swapping places to move to afternoons and mid-days respectively. Then Ben and Skin left the station entirely in October. That put K&C Masterpiece in mid-days.
The latest roster changes are minor in comparison. They take effect on February 17.
