Kevin Durant is launching two new podcasts in conjunction with Cadence13. It’s been over a year since Durant stepped on the court for an NBA game, but outside business interests have kept the superstar busy.
On Thursday, Durant and his business partner Rich Kleiman’s Thirty Five Ventures announced they’re working to develop new shows with Cadence13 a podcast company and subdivision of Entercom’s RADIO.COM. Thirty Five Ventures partnership with Cadence13 will see the development of The Boardroom Podcast Network.
Two podcasts are on tap for the network, the first being The Boardroom: Out Of Office which will premiere Aug. 12. The second podcast will be available in September, titled The Etc’s with Kevin Durant. Durant will contribute as a host, guest, curator and executive producer of the new shows and network.
“I’m really excited to be launching both of these podcasts and this partnership with Cadence13,” Durant said in the press release. “We’re really invested in making both of these pods different than anything else out there, and I’m personally looking forward to having in-depth conversations about some of my favorite topics.”
Kleiman will host The Boardroom: Out Of Office, offering candid conversations with special guests, bringing listeners behind the scenes in the business of sports. The Etc’s with Kevin Durant will be a monthly podcast featuring the NBA superstar’s love and knowledge of sports, music and culture.
