Conservative Talk Show Host Mark Levin Lashes Out at Facebook for Censoring Posts

Conservative talk show host Mark Levin accused Facebook of censoring his posts and “pushing a left-wing agenda.” The social media platform has reportedly restricted Levin’s page for sharing false news.

“Every link I post is from a legitimate source,” Levin wrote on his Parler page. The official Facebook page for The Mark Levin Show has more than 1.5 million followers and more than 1.5 million likes.

Levin has the fourth-largest talk radio audience behind Dave Ramsey, Sean Hannity, and Rush Limbaugh, respectively.

The heads of Facebook, Twitter, and Google are scheduled to virtually testify before Congress at the end of October on Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act which protects tech companies from liability over content posted by users.

Big tech companies have repeatedly denied that they are censoring conservative voices. In May, President Donald Trump signed an executive order cracking down on censorship by social media companies.

Parlar has become a popular choice for conservative analysts and personalities. The company’s CEO praised Mark Levin, calling him an important leader with a large base. “Millions of Americans look to him for news and analysis. Whether one agrees with him or not, it is important that Mr. Levin’s voice be heard,” said John Matze.

In addition to hosting a top-rated radio show, Mark Levin hosts Life, Liberty, and Levin on Fox.

According to NPR, there is no statistical evidence showing a conservative bias on Facebook. In fact, “conservative news regularly ranks among some of the most popular content on the site.”
