Dominique Foxworth is sticking around in Bristol. He has signed a multi-year extension with ESPN’s The Undefeated that will see him contributing content across a number of the company’s platforms.
The Undefeated is a site that focuses on the intersection of race, pop-culture, and sports. During his time at ESPN, Foxworth’s profile has certainly grown beyond just his work for that site. Still, it remains his home base within the company.
Foxworth played seven seasons in the NFL, spending time with the Lions, Falcons, and Ravens. He served as president of the NFL Players Association from 2012-2014. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer of the NBA Players Association.
“I am thrilled to be back with The Undefeated during this period when the intersection of race, culture and sports is as important as it has ever been,” Foxworth said in a press release.
The new deal will see Dominique Foxworth write for The Undefeated and continue his work as a commenter on a number of ESPN shows. He will also host two digital shows for The Undefeated, one titled I Don’t Give A Damn, the other called The Roundtable.
This week, ESPN will feature Foxworth’s work in a multi-platform profile of Tyrann Mathieu. The Kansas Chiefs All-Pro safety’s career and life will be the subject of the ESPN Cover Story series.
