Multiple Fox News personalities and the company’s president are quarantining after a person they traveled with tested positive for COVID-19. Anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, The Five co-hosts Dana Perino and Juan Williams, and president Jay Wallace.
The story which was first reported by The New York Times said everyone on the flight from New York to Nashville was advised to get tested for the coronavirus. The final presidential debate took place in Nashville, Tennessee.
A spokesperson for Fox News declined to comment saying details of the exposure should be kept private because of HIPAA concerns. The final presidential debate was heavily attended by Fox News personalities and brass.
The personalities in quarantine are expected to continue with their shows, remotely. The presidential election is just seven days away. Baier and MacCallum will anchor the event from Fox News headquarters in Manhattan.
