Talk show host Dan Bongino announced Wednesday that he entered the second round of his cancer treatment. The former secret service agent announced in September that he had a tumor in his neck.
A month later, he had surgery to remove the seven-centimeter tumor. During that time he learned he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. “Just a little bit of bad news on a personal note. It’s lymphoma – the Hodgkin’s type,” Bongino said during one of his radio shows.
Bongino tweeted a photo of himself just before he began his second round of treatment. “My chemo smirk! Round two about to begin.”
The tweet garnered plenty of positive reactions. “Hope you’re kicking ass my friend,” TV producer Greg Gutfield said. “You know it,” responded Bongino.
Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe messaged him to say, “praying for you, Dan!” and Bongino replied by writing: “Thank my friend, you’re a warrior. We need more of YOU!”
Bongino said he has good doctors, family, and friends who are supporting him during his fight.
