New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo recently released a montage of himself embracing other leaders as part of a defense from the sexual harassment allegations he’s currently facing.
When MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski saw the defense video that the New York governor published, she stated that it looked like it was part of a comedy show during Wednesday’s airing of “Morning Joe.”
“We’re going to show you later the response video that the governor put out. It’s pretty staggering. I thought it was like, a comedy show thing until I had to watch it again. It is really incredible, given the allegations against him,” Brzezinski said.
New York Attorney General Letitia James published the results of her independent investigation into Gov. Cuomo’s behavior, informing that her department found 11 cases in which he sexually harassed women, breaking the law in the process.
Following findings made by the attorney general, Gov. Cuomo went on the defense and published his montage, declaring his innocence.
Later in the program, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio became the latest politician asking the governor to resign.
