Former White House Press Secretary and Outnumbered co-host Kayleigh McEnany told Fox & Friends Tuesday that the mainstream media is handling the crisis in Kabul, Afghanistan, with surprising candor.
“The Biden administration was banking on the media covering for them despite knowing that the Taliban were up to this and it would be a challenging fight to keep Kabul,” said McEnany. “Now you have even the Washington Post editorial board and The Atlantic criticizing you.”
McEnany, known for her fierce battles with the left-leaning White House press corps during her nine-month stint as press secretary, also ripped MSNBC anchor Nicole Wallace who praised Joe Biden’s impromptu speech on Afghanistan Monday. Wallace called the speech a “great relief to the American people.”
“That is a remarkable statement,” a flabbergasted McEnany said. “Wallace went on to say that this decision to pull out of Afghanistan, envelopes what the Biden doctrine is.”
McEnany criticized current White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki for turning her ‘out of office auto-reply on during such a catastrophic event.
