Blue Wire Expands Las Vegas Lineup With Eric Wynalda

Blue Wire is stepping up its soccer game and adding another show to its roster based out of the company’s studios at the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas. A Sin City local and US Soccer icon, Eric Wynalda has signed on with the company.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of Blue Wire and to be back on a media platform to cover the sport I love in the City I love, Las Vegas,” Eric Wynalda told BSM.

Wynalda’s new show will be called Wynalda: For the Win. He intends to talk about the game at all levels with a variety of guests. The show will focus on the biggest news and current events in the soccer world.

No one can question Eric Wynalda’s soccer bona fides. He played 17 years of professional soccer. That includes scoring 34 goals for the US Men’s National Team in 106 appearances.

“Eric’s credentials speak for themselves but it’s actually his digital creation skills that enticed us to work together,” Blue Wire Founder & CEO Kevin Jones told BSM. “Eric’s been active on Twitter talking US soccer with strong commentary and creating his own video content. We look forward to producing his podcast from our new Blue Wire Studios @ Wynn Las Vegas.”

After retiring Eric Wynalda went into coaching and broadcasting. He has called matches for FS1 and ESPN. He also hosted a show for SiriusXM in 2015 called WTF: Wynalda Talks Football.
