Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Chris Wallace are the latest to express their displeasure at the network over its decision to air Tucker Carlson’s three-part documentary “Patriot Purge” on its streaming platform Fox Nation.
In a report by NPR, Baier and Wallace warned Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and its president of news, Jay Wallace. Furthermore, the objections by the two veteran anchors did reach up to Lachlan Murdoch, the chairman and CEO of the network’s parent company, Fox Corp.
Nonetheless, the network has proceeded with airing the documentary. However, the two anchors did their best to distance themselves from distancing from the series.
During his segment, Baier aired an investigative piece on the insurrection by veteran national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin. Meanwhile, Wallace had an interview on Fox News Sunday with Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, who has rejected those false claims.
These warnings by the veteran Fox News anchors come off the heels of contributors Stephen Hayes and Jonah Goldberg opting to leave the network due to the airing of Carlson’s documentary series.
