News Media Reacts to Russia’s Attack on Ukraine

The conflict in Ukraine with Russia continues to worsen, and on Thursday morning, explosions were seeable near the city of Kharkiv. However, the bombings didn’t stop there as several Ukrainian cities were under attack.

Plenty of news media members provided their thoughts on the ongoing conflict between the two countries as the situation escalated.

Radio host and Outkick founder Clay Travis stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin took advantage of the United States not having former President Donald Trump in charge.

CNN anchor Jim Acosta took the media approach and how Putin is spreading lies on Russian state news outlets, and Trump is saying his inaccuracies on Fox News.

MSNBC/NBC News Legal Analyst Joyce Alene decided to think about those whose lives are at risk and asked Americans to look in the mirror when considering voting for any authoritarian leader.

Bloomberg’s Leonid Bershidskiy, who is Russian, didn’t think that Putin would go through with this attack but provided his thoughts on the bombings in several Ukrainian cities.

Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce echoed Travis’ sentiments that Putin knows he has a short window to advance any agendas with former President Trump no longer in The White House.

MSNBC/NBC Legal Contributor Katie Phang decided to leave the politics aside and shared her concern for the citizens hearing the air raid siren and parents needing to act fast to protect their children.
