After Controversial Joe Rogan Appearance, YouTube Removes RFK Jr. Interview

Date:

After being criticized for his appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, a recent interview Robert F. Kennedy Jr. conducted with Jordan B. Peterson has been removed from YouTube.

Harsh criticism for his anti-vaccine stance he showcased on the popular podcast was given to Kennedy by Dr. Peter Hotez, a vaccine expert. Hotez claimed Kennedy was sharing misinformation. That claim was rebutted by both Joe Rogan and Elon Musk that ultimately went viral.

After the comments for Hotez, however, YouTube reviewed some of the claims made by RFK Jr. and subsequently decided to remove a video of an interview he gave to Peterson.

In the video, Kennedy appears to claim that chemicals in the water supply have led to an increased transgender population.

“I think a lot of the problems we see in kids, particularly boys, it’s probably underappreciated on that how much of that is coming from chemical exposures, including a lot of the sexual dysphoria that we’re seeing,” the prospective 2024 Democratic presidential candidate says.

Kennedy appears to make the same claim as Infowars host Alex Jones that there is a “chemical that turns frogs gay”. He claimed the U.S. drinking supply is contaminated by “atrazine”, which he alleges “will chemically castrate and forcefully feminize every frog in there. And 10% of the frogs, the male frogs will turn into fully viable females able to produce viable eggs. If it’s doing that to frogs, there’s a lot of other evidence that it’s doing to human beings as well.”

In response, Peterson shared his displeasure with YouTube, claiming the platform was interfering in a presidential election.
