SiriusXM MLB Network Radio to Air ‘Players Week’ Programming

SiriusXM has announced that it will present “Players Week” programming on MLB Network Radio throughout the week. Various current Major League Baseball players and top-ranked prospects will be on the air with SiriusXM hosts for extended feature segments during the week. They will each have an hour of airtime and the purview to guide the conversation as they wish, discussing topics both on and off the field that appeal to them.

Earlier in the year, SiriusXM and Major League Baseball agreed to terms on an extension through the 2028 season. This will allow MLB games to continue reaching SiriusXM subscribers, along with the continuation of MLB Network Radio. Both companies have worked together since the 2009 season, although MLB was first available on XM Radio after the two entities reached an agreement before the 2005 season. XM merged with Sirius to form “SiriusXM” in July 2008 upon approval from the Federal Communications Commission.

Consumers can tune in to programming on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM channel No. 89 or by using the SiriusXM application. A full schedule of the players scheduled to join programs on the radio station is listed below:
