"You don’t get to be the No. 1 digital sports destination without incredible people, and the relationships I’ve made are what I will value most from this experience."

Date:

Nate Ravitz, who has been with ESPN for the last 17 years, most recently as Senior Vice President, Digital Content at ESPN, has announced he will be leaving the company next month. Ravitz posted about his upcoming departure on his social media channels.

“I joined the company in March of 2007 as a veteran of the fantasy sports industry,” he wrote. “I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had at ESPN to lead teams across digital, streaming, editorial, social media, design, sports data, fantasy and betting.

“ESPN has been an exceptional place to grow personally and professionally. I’ve learned from mentors, colleagues and more. I am filled with immense pride for the success of so many leaders I’ve had the privilege to manage, who are thriving at ESPN and elsewhere across media and technology. You don’t get to be the No. 1 digital sports destination without incredible people, and the relationships I’ve made are what I will value most from this experience.”

Prior to joining ESPN, Ravitz worked for fantasy sports companies RotoTimes, CDM Fantasy Sports and Fanball.com.
