Former Fox News and Newsmax host Eric Bolling is set to debut an independent digital video show on YouTube and Rumble.
Bolling will be launching the program under Red Seat Ventures, the media talent company that has previously worked with conservative media hosts like Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson, as well as television personalities like Nancy Grace and Mike Rowe.
The new program, titled BOLLING!, will be produced five days per week on both YouTube and Rumble, with a potential future cable news home still to be determined.
“When I sat down with (Red Seat Ventures), I told them ‘I have to be truthful. I have to be able to talk truthfully, transparently, from the heart.’ And they said ‘Great. Let’s do this.’ And then we started negotiating with cable companies, and cable companies just need editorial control. We’re still talking to three of them. Not sure if that’s going to happen. Maybe it will down the road,” Bolling said as he made the announcement. He did not go into greater detail on which cable companies he had been in contact with.
In a video teasing his Monday announcement, Bolling said he had wished to announce the new venture sooner, but said “I had to, legally, keep it under wraps,” until Monday.
Eric Bolling departed Newsmax earlier this year as the two sides “mutually agreed” to part ways. He joined Newsmax in 2021 to host Eric Bolling The Balance, which aired weeknights at 8 PM ET. The 61-year-old worked at Fox News from 2008 until 2017. He also previously worked at CNBC as an analyst on its Fast Money program.
