The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) will be honoring professionals and companies in the sports media industry for high achievement and excellence performance at the 2025 Sports Emmy Awards. The awards ceremony will take place from Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City on Tuesday, May 20 and includes awards across an array of 47 different categories. Roy Wood Jr. will serve as the host of the program, which will be streamed live on The Emmys website and apps. David Hill, the former president of FOX Sports, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony.
“This year’s Sports Emmy nominees have once again raised the bar in sports television, blending innovation and passion to deliver unforgettable moments,” Adam Sharp, president and chief executive officer of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, said in a statement. “From their groundbreaking technical achievements to their excellence in the timeless art of live sports drama and documentary storytelling, we look forward to honoring these extraordinary professionals’ contributions at the 46th Annual Sports Emmy Awards.”
