South Florida sports radio veteran Kevin Rogers is returning to 560 WQAM in Miami. He made the announcement earlier tonight on his Facebook page.
Rogers is expected to fill in on University of Miami basketball play-by-play assignments and perform studio work for Canes basketball and Florida Panthers hockey broadcasts.
He began his radio career in 1999 while in college at Florida State. The early part of his professional career was spent in Kansas City where he worked as an On-Air personality for 610 Sports, a station which current WQAM Program Director Ryan Maguire previously managed.
From 2005 through the summer of 2014, Rogers worked as a host for both WQAM and 790 the Ticket. He’s also spent time working for 610 WIOD in Miami. In addition to his radio work, Kevin is also a senior writer and handicapper at VegasInsider.com.
