Joe Bell spent nearly a decade with WQAM, serving as the station’s General Manager. But after CBS agreed in October 2014 to swap fourteen radio stations with Beasley Broadcasting in exchange for five of its properties, including its three Miami brands, it was unclear what the future had in store.
Well in July 2015, Bell learned along with four other Market Managers that he had been let go as part of a CBS company wide shakeup.
Now after enjoying a few months away, Bell is ready to dive back in, and he’s doing so with a company which gave him his first job in the industry. Joe announced over the weekend that he’s headed to Chattanooga, TN where he will assume Market Manager duties for the Brewer Media Group.
Among the stations Brewer Media operates are Groove 93, Power 94, Big 95.3, Cat Country 106.9 and ESPN 105.1 The Zone. For more information on the company click here.
