92.9 The Game Parts Ways With Randy Cross

92.9 The Game in Atlanta has parted ways with Randy Cross. No word on why he was released or who will replace him.

Cross spent three years on the morning show before being moved to middays this fall after Jamie Dukes departed. Cross was paired with Rick Kamla who he previously had worked with at the radio station. Hugh Douglas and John Fricke took over mornings.

Cross was inducted into the College Football  Hall of Fame in 2011 and played in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers from 1976 to 1988 winning three Super Bowl championships.

He had been with The Game since its inception in October of 2012. Only three personalities still remain from the original lineup, Kamla, Carl Dukes and Mitch Evans.
