SportsTalk 790 in Houston Makes Lineup Changes

SportsTalk 790 KBME in Houston, announced today that they will kick off 2016 with a brand new weekday lineup. The radio station is changing up its morning show and making an addition to beef up its midday programming.

The station has announced the arrival of 13-year NFL veteran Sean Jones, who will team up with Adam Clanton weekdays from 12p-3p. Jones played for the Houston Oilers, Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Raiders and recorded 113 sacks during his career, and was part of Green Bay’s Super Bowl 31 winning team.

Director of AM Programming for iHeart Media Houston Bryan Erickson said “We’re thrilled to be adding Sean Jones to our team. The former Super Bowl champ brings a unique perspective from his days on the gridiron. He has some strong opinions and we can’t wait to unleash him on Houston sports talk fans”.

With Adam Clanton moving to middays to work with Jones, Matt Thomas will move to morning drive where he will join Lance Zierlein as part of The Proper Gentlemen of Sports from 6a-10a.

In the Trenches with former NFL stars Greg Koch and N.D Kalu will move back an hour from 10a-12p and veteran sports talk host Charlie Pallilo will add an hour to The Drive Home and broadcast LIVE from 3p-7p.

The full KBME Sportstalk 790 programming line-up:

  • The Proper Gentlemen with Lance Zierlein & Matt Thomas from 6:00 a.m-10:00 a.m.
  • In the Trenches with Koch & Kalu from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
  • The Bottom Line with Jones and Clanton from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
  • The Drive Home with Charlie Pallilo from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
  • The Jay Mohr Show 7:00 p.m-10:00 p.m.
