Joey Jenkins gets things done more quickly than many people. Less than two years after college, Jenkins has already hosted a daily sports talk show on a commercial radio station, been an assistant program director, and is married. Now he’s taking the next step in his life, joining ESPN Boise.
“I’ll be producing two shows, anchoring live Sportscenter updates, fill-in hosting and reporting on different events,” he says. “I’ll also be assisting our Program Director in creating contest ideas, segment ideas, and helping create content that can generate higher ratings and raise revenue.”
A 2014 graduate of the University of Idaho, Jenkins moves to Boise from Moscow, ID, where he spent the past five years. He says the move to ESPN Boise is a good one professionally because it fits well with his style of hosting and his off-air abilities and talents.
