When The Beast 980 announced it was flipping formats, it left a lot of good programming people in limbo trying to figure out their next move. For Adam Hawk, fortunately that stay on the sidelines didn’t last long.
The former producer of the Fred Roggin Show has landed with Fox Sports Radio where he’s taking on the role of Executive Producer of JT The Brick’s evening program. Hawk confirmed the news earlier today on Facebook.
Despite The Beast 980 not having enough success in Los Angeles to prevent a sale and format change, they did a nice job of hiring and developing some talented people. Hawk is the second weekday producer from the radio station to land in an excellent situation. Former teammate and fellow producer Allen Faul recently landed the APD role in Dallas with The Ticket and ESPN 103.3.
