97.5 The Fanatic is adding some firepower to Mike Missanelli’s afternoon show. The radio station has reached a deal with former Philadelphia Phillies Pitcher, Three-time World Series winner, and current ESPN Baseball Analyst Curt Schilling to join the program every Thursday afternoon at 4pm throughout the baseball season.
Schilling, who is one of Missanelli’s favorite guests, will share his thoughts each week on the Phillies, Major League baseball, and anything else in the world of sports, pop culture and politics.
“Excited to be talking with my good friend and disillusioned liberal Mike Missanelli again this year!!” quipped Curt.
Given Curt’s gift of gab and willingness to provide opinions that often generate headlines, this is a great addition for the Fanatic. Philadelphia baseball fans will likely take interest in hearing the two talented and highly opinionated men come together for a weekly conversation.
If there’s anyone who should be concerned, it’s the executives at ESPN. They now have to hope their talented but outspoken analyst doesn’t say something during an appearance that creates a future headache. For the Fanatic though, they’ve created a must-listen radio appointment.
