Rodger Wyland has spent the past fifteen years at Fox Sports 980 (WOFX) in Albany, NY. But on July 5th, he’ll broadcast his show “Big Board Sports” over the airwaves of another local radio station for the first time since early 2001.
The Albany Times Union reports that Wyland is joining competitor 104.5 The Team (WTMM). He’s expected to sign a long-term contract with the Townsquare Media radio station.
His program will air weekdays from 10a-12p. Fox Sports 980 has yet to make an announcement of how they will replace Wyland’s show on their airwaves.
