Steve Goldstein Added To Stanley Cup Finals Broadcast

Florida Panthers television play-by-play announcer Steve Goldstein is heading to the 2016 Stanley Cup Finals. Except this time, he’ll be part of the coverage.

According to the South Florida Sports Coverage blog, Goldstein, has been named studio host for NBC Sports Radio Network’s broadcast of the Stanley Cup Finals. Kenny Albert will serve as play-by-play announcer and Joe Micheletti will fill the role of game analyst. It will be the first time that the Stanley Cup Finals air on a national broadcast since 2008.

Although he’s spent 11 seasons as the voice of the Panthers, Goldstein is no stranger to national radio. He’s called hockey action at the 2010 and 2014 Olympics for Westwood One.
