Amanda Borges Leaving 1010XL For The New York Rangers

Amanda Borges of 1010XL in Jacksonville is leaving the radio station to become the new Team Reporter for the New York Rangers. Her final week in Jacksonville will be next week.

Borges has served as 1010XL’s Jaguars reporter, and been a contributing personality to Frank Frangie’s afternoon show. She becomes the third 1010XL personality during the last three years to leave the station for a television opportunity working with a major professional sports team. In addition to Borges, Jessica Blaylock left 1010XL to become a reporter for Fox Sports Florida covering the Marlins and Panthers. Mackenzie Thirkill also departed to become a sideline reporter for the MLS franchise, the Orlando City Soccer Club.
