104.9 The Horn in Austin, Texas is adding new programs to its on-air schedule, highlighted by the return of a popular local voice in the market. The radio station has confirmed that Geoff Ketchum will take over middays from 1p-3p CT. Ketchum previously hosted on the station from 2008-2012 and was heard nationally on Yahoo Sports Radio before the network switched affiliations and became SB Nation Radio.
In addition, The Horn is adding two weekend shows. Former Texas Longhorns and NFL players Kasey Studdard and Lyle Sendlein will host a weekly outdoors show, “The Big Ugly Outdoors“, Saturday mornings from 6a-8a CT. “Texas Motor Speedway’s Total Access” hosted by Rich Phillips and Katie Tull also joins the Saturday schedule from 8a-9a CT.
Program Director and afternoon drive host Erin Hogan said “104.9 The Horn is dedicated to producing the best sports talk in Central Texas. With the addition of these personalities, along with our recent announcement of Craig Way, voice of the University of Texas Longhorns, we will continue to grow as a station and provide the most in-depth coverage of sports in Austin and Central Texas.”
